In San Diego, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across California, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Day-old bread and end-of-day discounts are common if you ask.

San Diego is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and San Diego follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Who ever was working today 2/1 around 1030AM needs a serious attitude adjustment. Came in with a few friends and we put a couple quarters in the rubber duck machine. We asked the person working why it wasn't turning and she said "theres a sign that says two quarters". And I also said yeah but it also says $1 each side so I laughed and said I swear we're not dumb...to which she replied, "oh there was someone more dumb than you". Okay...so she just called us dumb. When the machine didn't dispense a duck we then let her know and she said she had a bag of ducks we could choose from. As we looked through a couple options she the says "you have a few more seconds to choose so I can get back to what I was doing, pick a duck" . First off there's no one in that store and it's been about 3 minutes of interaction since we entered. As we walk out of course we're offended and we say "we'll try not to be stupid the rest of the day" to which she replied "that happens sometimes ". I get that you hate you have to work on a Sunday, but maybe make some life changes so you dont have to be so insufferable to people just enjoying a day out at seaport. If you cant handle 5 minutes if customer interactio

Cute little candy shop inside Seaport Village. We enjoyed looking around and buying some of their unique treats. The girl who worked there even validated our parking ticket too!

I use to be a security guard for seaport village. I really enjoyed coming to this store and speaking with not just the employees but also the 2 owners. I always purchased their gummy bears⦠fresh gummy bears and butter beer drink in a glass bottle. Delicious.

Not anything too interesting or special about the shop. The same candy you can get from anywhere is in the store. It was a cute little storefront but once I went in I can get the same thing from any grocery store. Not impressed.

Such a cute and fun store! The inside was impeccable and they literally have the most friendliest staff we encountered at Seaport Village. One of the employees helped me by making a cute gift bag full of different candies for my friends birthday gift and she LOVED it! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone with a sweet tooth!
